Plantynet's media content subsidiary, PlantyM, announced on the 16th that it will launch a high-quality AI-based in-store music service in collaboration with Noneunit Special Forces Entertainment.
The two companies signed an 'In-store AI Music Partnership Agreement' to provide optimized music solutions for store operators through an AI technology-based music curation (personalized recommendation) system.
This collaboration is expected to create significant synergy as it marks the meeting of PlantyM, which has accumulated years of rich experience in operating in-store music services, and composer Kim Hyung-seok, a representative figure in the Korean music industry.
PlantyM, which has been operating the in-store music service brand 'Juice Shop' since 2007, will be responsible for discovering and delivering AI-based music tailored to store environments based on its accumulated know-how. Meanwhile, Noneunit Special Forces Entertainment will handle sophisticated music production and music processing using AI technology through its music IP specialized platform, 'MU:FIRM.'
With the participation of composer Kim Hyung-seok, it is expected to provide high-quality AI music perfectly suited to each store brand and atmosphere, offering unique and distinctive musical experiences for every store.
PlantyM anticipates that AI-based music will establish itself as a smart solution that saves time and costs for store operators. By adopting AI technology, the company explained that it can analyze customer behavior patterns and operational conditions in real time, provide time-specific customized music curation, and offer the advantage of using music freely and safely without copyright concerns.
Hwang Chang-yeon, CEO of PlantyM, said, “Through this collaboration, we plan to develop and introduce an AI-based in-store music service that creates differentiated value beyond simply providing music,” adding, “We aim to deliver a unique musical experience to both store operators and customers through high-quality AI music.”
