This project is expected to generate an economic ripple effect of over 600 billion KRW and create employment for more than 2,000 people through national funding.

Ham Myeong-jun, Governor of Goseong County, emphasized, “Hwajinpo National Marine Ecological Park will be a premium marine ecological space where the sea, lagoon, humanities, and history harmonize, leading the marine tourism industry in the East Coast era and creating new growth engines for Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province.” He expressed his determination by stating, “Goseong County will launch the promotion planning team and work closely with the province to ensure thorough preparation.”
