Korea National Oil Corporation announced on the 15th that it has finally selected Standard & Poor's (S&P) Global as the investment advisory firm for the Donghae gas field.
After opening the bidding for the investment advisory firm in early last month and selecting a preferred negotiation partner, the Oil Corporation conducted negotiations and ultimately chose S&P Global.
The Oil Corporation plans to establish an investment attraction strategy with S&P Global and actively carry out investment attraction activities.
S&P Global is an institution that provides financial services such as credit rating and financial information analysis, as well as analysis services for the energy sector and mobility data.
The Oil Corporation explained, "S&P Global is a specialized company that analyzes and forecasts the global energy market, identifies price trends by raw materials, and conducts investment-related research and advisory services such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A)."
