Gwangju City Selects 13 Companies for Citizen-Experience Product Demonstration

Providing Locations Such as Libraries and Parks... Support Up to 100 Million Won

Gwangju City recently announced on the 15th that it has selected 13 companies to participate in the "Citizen Experience-Oriented Startup Company Product Demonstration Support Project" and will begin support starting this month.

The city provides locations such as libraries, museums, art galleries, and parks to startup companies that possess innovative technology but face difficulties securing demonstration data. The companies accumulate data on customer dissatisfaction and requests from the demonstration stage and reflect these in product development or advancement.

Selected companies can receive up to 100 million KRW per project, and after the final evaluation upon completion of the demonstration, they will be issued a certificate in the name of the Mayor of Gwangju. The selected companies include ▲Library Innovation Smart Robot "Motion Advisor" ▲Mobility Assistance Device for Patients with Movement Difficulties "Enton" ▲Personalized Care Method through AI Skin Analysis "Dr.K Healthcare" ▲AI Pet House for Companion Animals "Dear Dear" ▲Mobility Using Green Hydrogen Production Technology "EST Solution" ▲Smart Bench Utilizing AI Energy Storage System (ESS) Power Management System "I Will" ▲Youth Mental Counseling Device Using AI Empathy Dialogue Technology for Psychological Therapy "NexV" ▲On-Device AI for Children's Future Education and Robot Guidance Service "Circulus" ▲IoT Heated Chair Using Carbon Heating Element "Next Tech" ▲Interactive Extended Reality (XR) Unmanned Booth "Efu World" ▲Mixed Reality Experience and Escape Room Service Converged Immersive Content "Let's Travel" ▲Virtual Reality (VR) Gwangju Tour Tourism Game "186" ▲K-POP Fan Networking Space "Tissue Office."

Last year, the city supported 36 companies, achieving visible business results such as 8.5 billion KRW in sales, 56 new jobs, and securing domestic and international sales channels.

Joo Jae-hee, Director of the Gwangju City Economic Startup Bureau, said, "We are doing our best to ensure the sustainable growth of startup companies to revitalize the local economy," adding, "Through citizen experience-oriented demonstration support, companies can fully understand customer demand, and citizens can directly participate in demonstrations, raising interest and understanding of support for startup companies."
