Gyeongbuk Province received a donation of 10 million KRW to overcome low birth rates from Olpum Co., Ltd. through the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea and plans to use it for combating low birth rates and related efforts.
On the 15th (Tuesday), Olpum Co., Ltd. visited Gyeongbuk Province and donated 10 million KRW to overcome low birth rates in the presence of Lee Cheol-woo, Governor of Gyeongbuk Province, Son Byung-il, Secretary General of the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea, and other officials.
Established in Sangju in 2001, Olpum Co., Ltd. is a chicken-specialized company that aims to provide healthy food by meticulously managing every stage from breeding, slaughtering, product manufacturing, distribution, to sales to supply the highest quality chicken.
Olpum Co., Ltd. continuously supports vulnerable groups and welfare facilities by donating samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) to senior welfare centers annually, donating chicken to Sangju Prison and the Community Chest of Korea, and sharing meals of love.
CEO Kang Ki-cheol stated, “I feel very honored to participate in the ‘War against Low Birth Rates’ declared by Gyeongbuk Province to solve the low birth rate issue, which is crucial for the future of South Korea.”
