Nonsan City Selected as an Outstanding Institution for Creating a Safe Food Environment

Chungnam Province Recognized for Excellence in Food Safety Management Evaluation

Nonsan City announced on the 15th that it has been selected as an excellent institution in this year's Chungnam Province Food Safety Management Evaluation.

The city strengthened guidance and inspections for hygiene-vulnerable businesses and conducted comprehensive inspections of group meal facilities throughout the year by utilizing consumer food hygiene inspectors.

In addition, the city improved the efficiency of hygiene management tasks by actively utilizing on-site reporting equipment for prompt food safety operations.

To create a safe and healthy food environment, the city also carried out promotional activities and campaigns to prevent food poisoning and improve food culture.

A city official said, "We will continue to recognize the importance of food safety management and do our best to ensure food safety by strengthening communication and participation with citizens."
