Baby Brezza Product Also Offers Excellent Cost-Effectiveness
Among the formula milk makers available on the market, products from Budle and Baby Brezza were found to accurately match the formula concentration and temperature. The Baby Brezza product also demonstrated competitiveness in terms of cost-effectiveness (performance relative to price).
The Korea Consumer Agency announced on the 15th that there were differences in key performance aspects such as formula concentration and temperature accuracy, and preparation time after testing and evaluating the quality of six major formula milk makers. The tested products included ▲ Nunnu 'WLL-1', ▲ Rihas 'KHV-001', ▲ Budle 'BUDDLE MAMMA S', ▲ Bebelove 'GS-802M', ▲ Baby Brezza 'BRZFRP-2A', and ▲ Bravi 'O2S-GW/1707'.
In the test measuring how much the prepared formula deviated from the recommended concentration (14%) by domestic formula manufacturers, two products, Budle and Baby Brezza, showed a deviation within 1 percentage point, demonstrating relatively superior performance. Three products?Nunnu, Rihas, and Bebelove?were rated as 'Good', while the Bravi product was rated as 'Average'.
In the formula temperature accuracy test, three products?Budle, Bebelove, and Baby Brezza?showed deviations within 1℃ of the set temperature. Rihas and Bravi were rated as 'Good', and Nunnu was rated as 'Average'.
Formula foaming occurred only in the Nunnu product, with foam measuring approximately 0.7 cm at the second stage (240 ml). Noise levels varied by up to 12 dB between products, but most of the six products were similar to a microwave oven (average 57 dB) and quieter than a drum washing machine (average 69 dB).
Energy consumption was very low for all products, below 10 Wh. Safety aspects such as electric shock protection, electromagnetic wave emission, and harmful substances showed no issues. However, product prices ranged from 142,000 KRW (Nunnu) to 538,000 KRW (Budle), showing a maximum difference of 3.8 times between products. The Baby Brezza product, noted for its cost-effectiveness, was priced at 299,000 KRW.
The Consumer Agency advised that when purchasing a formula milk maker, it is advisable to carefully compare formula concentration and temperature accuracy, preparation time, and additional features before selecting a product. A representative from the agency stated, "To support consumers' rational consumption, we will continue to provide information on the safety and quality comparison of household and electronic products, as well as environmental information to promote eco-friendly consumption culture."
