Opening of the 285th Hapcheon County Council Extraordinary Session

Next Year's Military Administration Major Work Plan Report and 8 Shared Property Management Plans

The Hapcheon County Council in Gyeongnam opened the 285th Hapcheon County Council extraordinary session, which will be held for 9 days from the 14th to October 22nd.

During this extraordinary session, a total of 13 agenda items will be reviewed, including 1 ordinance proposed by council members, the 2025 major county administration work plan report, 8 shared property management plans, 1 ordinance, and 2 consent items.

At the 1st plenary session of the 285th extraordinary session, Councilor Seong Jong-tae, as the main proposer with the consent of all members, adopted the "Resolution Urging the Amendment of the Special Act to Support Korean Atomic Bomb Victims," urging the government and the National Assembly to expand the scope of support for atomic bomb victims to include the second generation.

Additionally, through a 5-minute free speech, Councilor Lee Jong-cheol proposed establishing support measures for essential agricultural materials to alleviate the difficulties faced by farming households due to soaring production costs, and Councilor Lee Han-shin pointed out the complexity of documents and procedures required for contract signing with local governments, suggesting the simplification of contract documents to enhance administrative speed and efficiency.

Chairman Jeong Bong-hoon, in his opening remarks, stated, "It is already time to look back on this year and prepare to build a better Hapcheon County," and added, "I ask that you do your best in the 285th extraordinary session so that the wishes of the residents can be realized and Hapcheon County can become even happier."
