Hamyang Hanwoo Association Holds 'Youth Hanwoo Tasting Experience Event' to Promote Consumption

Informing Local Schools About the Excellence of Hanwoo Beef

The Korea Hanwoo Association, Gyeongnam Hamyang County Branch, announced on the 15th that it held a 'Youth Hanwoo Taste Experience Event' to promote the excellence of Hanwoo and stimulate consumption targeting local schools.

Hosted by the Hanwoo Self-Support Fund Management Committee and organized by the Hamyang County Hanwoo Association, the event is held annually to provide growing youth with high-quality protein and to promote the excellence of Hanwoo.

At this experience event, 86 kg of Hanwoo bulgogi (worth approximately 3 million KRW) was supplied to two schools, Hamyang High School and Wirim Elementary School, and served to students during lunch hours.

Kwon Ki-ho, head of the Hanwoo Association branch, said, “We are pleased to inform the future leaders, the children, about the excellence of Hanwoo and to provide them with healthy and delicious Hanwoo bulgogi.” He added, “We will continue to strive to coexist and prosper with the local community by contributing to the health improvement of not only the growing children but also the residents.”
