Domohen announced on the 15th that it will hold an opening exhibition titled "Nam June Paik's Recorded Dreams, Conversations with Those Dreams." Previously, on the 24th, Domohen held an opening ceremony after remodeling the former Busan mayor’s official residence into a cultural space freely accessible to citizens. Selected through a regional exhibition revitalization contest by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Arts Management Support Center, this exhibition is being held as part of that initiative.
A representative from Print Art Research, which planned the exhibition, explained, "We are unveiling thousands of archives recorded and carefully preserved by Mark Patsfall, Nam June Paik’s collaborative partner, for the first time in Korea. These materials were stored for decades at Mark Patsfall’s workshop in Cincinnati, USA, and have been exhibited under the leadership of Nam Cheon-woo, a printmaker and CEO of Print Art Research, who planned this exhibition."

At the exhibition venue, visitors can primarily experience extensive materials and print works that fully capture Nam June Paik’s creative process. The exhibition is characterized by prioritizing the release of highly significant materials first, followed by engaging stories behind the works, allowing visitors to deeply feel Nam June Paik’s artistic philosophy and experimental spirit.
In addition to viewing the artworks, various audience participation programs such as silk screen eco-bag printing, relief print card making, and sticker experiences will be offered. Reservations can be made in advance through the Domohen website.
Moreover, the globally acclaimed documentary film about Nam June Paik, "Nam June Paik: The Moon is the Oldest TV," will be screened free of charge on-site. The exhibition runs until November 30.
