Dobong-gu Hosts Craft Beer Festival 'Changmaek Festival'... Renowned Craft Breweries Nationwide Participate
Various Food and Cultural Performances Prepared

Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) will hold the craft beer festival ‘Changmaek Festival’ at Changdong Station Shopping District (around Exit 1 of Changdong Station) from 1 PM to 10 PM on October 18.

Hosted by the Changdong Station Shopping District Merchants Association, this festival was organized to establish a local brand unique to the Changdong Station Shopping District and to revitalize the neighborhood commercial area.

The festival will feature renowned craft beer breweries from across the country, including Raindoit, The Root, The Table, and Cafein Sinhyeon-ri, each showcasing craft beers with distinct charms.

The Changdong Station Shopping District will also offer a variety of food at affordable prices to delight the visitors’ palates.

Starting at 5 PM, street performances by Roro (Yoon Hyun-ro), Eun-gi (Yoon Eun-gi), and Yujin (Heo Yujin) will kick off the vibrant shows on the main stage.

The performances will include singer Cha Soo-kyung, Jeon Cho-a, Spike Bomb, Lularusi, and Jung Dan, the 8th lead vocalist of Resurrection, as well as a DJ show by DJ Buddy.

Various events are also prepared. Customers who purchase more than 20,000 won at the flea market or shopping district will receive one free glass of craft beer.

Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, “I hope the Changmaek Festival will promote the charm of the Changdong Station Shopping District and contribute to revitalizing the local economy,” adding, “A variety of food and entertainment that will delight all five senses are prepared, so I hope many people will participate in the festival and create special memories with their loved ones.”
