2024 Dobong Green Music Donghaeng Festa Successfully Concludes

Seoul City Councilor Park Seok: "Hoping to Establish as a Festival Where People of All Ages Can Enjoy Through Music and Dance"

Park Seok, a member of the Seoul Metropolitan Council (People Power Party, Dobong 3), attended the '2024 Dobong Green Music Together Festa' held at the special stage in front of Seed Cube Changdong~Hanaro Mart Changdong Branch in Dobong-gu and delivered congratulatory remarks.

This festival, held for the second time this year, was filled with various attractions and activities centered around the environment, successfully concluding with over 10,000 citizens visiting on the 12th and 13th.

In particular, the finals of the '2nd Dobong National Children's Song Choir Competition' and the '1st Dobong National Youth Dance Contest' were held, heating up the atmosphere of the festival.

In the National Children's Song Choir Competition, the 'Seongnam Migeum Elementary School Golden Wave Choir' received high praise from the judging panel and won the grand prize, while in the National Youth Dance Contest, 'KLAXON' was honored with the grand prize, receiving a cash prize of 5 million won and the Dobong District Mayor's Award, respectively.

At the opening ceremony, Councilor Park Seok emphasized in his congratulatory speech, “We made efforts not only to secure the festival budget but also to create a more diverse festival by inviting Professor Yang Seung-hee, a holder of national intangible cultural heritage, and the Kukkiwon Taekwondo demonstration team.”

He continued, “I hope the 'Dobong Green Music Together Festa' will establish itself as a representative local festival and, based on synergy with the K-pop-centered complex cultural performance venue 'Seoul Arena,' Dobong will leap forward as a cultural hub,” adding, “We will continue to support increasing opportunities for children and youth, the future leaders, to showcase their dreams and talents.”
