BNK Busan Bank Hosts Diverse Exhibitions to Celebrate the Season of Culture

Korean Painting Exhibition on Everyday Emotions Until the 17th

'Today's Weather Report' Featuring Artists Jang Sangsoo and Jung Sunmi

BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) announced on the 14th that it will hold various exhibitions at the BNK Busan Bank Gallery in Sinchang-dong to celebrate the cultural season of autumn.

Until the 17th, the exhibition "Today's Weather Forecast" will be held as a two-person show by artists Jang Sangsoo and Jung Sunmi, featuring Korean paintings that express various emotions in everyday life, as changeable as the weather, from the artists' unique perspectives.


Additionally, from the 18th to the 24th, the fourth exhibition of Baekyanghangwoohoe, a group of alumni from the art club of Gaeseong High School, titled "2024... And Connecting Through Art," is scheduled to take place. Sixteen artists will participate, freely displaying works from various genres and showcasing the joy of artistic activities in daily life.


The exhibition "Gaya Costume - From Past to Present" by the Korea Costume Culture Institute will also be held from the 25th to the 31st. This exhibition features modern reinterpretations of Gaya costumes, a valuable cultural heritage of the region.


Kang Seokrae, Head of Management Strategy at Busan Bank, said, "We will continue to strive to provide stable exhibition opportunities for local artists and high-quality cultural experiences for local residents."


Since opening the BNK Busan Bank Gallery in 2011, Busan Bank has supported over 340 free venue rentals and has assigned dedicated curators to ensure smooth exhibitions.
