Ulju-gun Holds 'Meeting with Beomseo Janggeom Residents' Event

'365 Communication Governor's Office Meeting Project'... Listening to and Gathering Residents' Opinions

Ulju County in Ulsan held the 'Meeting with Residents of Beomseo Janggeom' event on the 13th at Mulnaeum Park in Beomseo-eup, where County Governor Lee Soongeol communicated directly with local residents.

This event, part of the 8th Civil Administration's '365 Communication Governor's Office Meeting Project,' was organized to coincide with the opening of the barefoot walking trail at Beomseo Mulnaeum Park and to gather residents' opinions and requests.

Previously, Ulju County had been promoting the creation of nature-friendly barefoot walking trails in 12 towns and townships to improve residents' quality of life and leisure culture, in line with the nationwide trend of barefoot walking.

During the event, Governor Lee communicated with residents to identify local inconveniences and areas for improvement, promising to create a better environment. He also personally explained the progress of establishing the 'Our Neighborhood Integrated Care Center,' a childcare institution, which received a positive response.

Governor Lee Soongeol stated, "Through the ongoing 'Meeting Project,' we will actively collect and reflect various opinions and requests needed by Ulju residents," adding, "We will do our best to make Ulju a happier and better place to live for everyone."

Ulju County started with a meeting with young people in June last year, followed by meetings with small business owners in September and a barefoot walking communication event for residents in December. This year, after a meeting with residents of Bancheon Hyundai Apartment in Eonyang in April, the county held this resident meeting in Beomseo Janggeom.
