QWER Goods Now Available for Purchase Directly on YouTube... Cafe24 Supports Official Store Setup

QWER Opens Online Store to Connect with Fans

e-commerce platform Cafe24 announced on the 14th the opening of 'QWER Shop,' a Direct to Consumer (D2C) store selling official merchandise of the girl band 'QWER' to consumers.

QWER is a girl band formed through the 'Favorite Children' project planned by creator Kim Gyeran, who has 3.13 million YouTube subscribers as of last October. Their representative song "Addicted to Worry," released in April, stayed in the top 5 of the YouTube Music weekly chart for five months, and their recently released new title track "My Name is Clear" achieved number one on major domestic music sites' charts such as YouTube Music, gaining popularity.

QWER opened an online store based on the Cafe24 platform to communicate with fans through merchandise. To this end, Cafe24 supported connecting fans visiting QWER Shop with the artists. Specifically, this includes ▲product exposure within QWER's official YouTube channel ▲a 'Members Pick' corner showcasing recommended products by each member Chodan, Majenta, Hina, and Siyeon ▲navigation that integrates the latest social media content for easy access ▲a large display feature for continuous silent music video playback.

Currently, QWER Shop and the YouTube channel are prioritizing sales of the new album (Algorithm's Blossom). Later, they plan to introduce fandom merchandise for the official fandom 'Bawige.' In particular, they aim to continuously attract fans' interest through limited edition products and seasonal special items.

QWER Shop is expected to function as a key channel for quickly delivering essential information for two-way communication between fans and artists, such as pre-orders and various events. To this end, Cafe24 plans to continuously support the latest features and services necessary for QWER Shop.

Lee Jae-seok, CEO of Cafe24, said, "We are pleased to build a bridge effectively connecting the most notable artists and fandoms recently through the D2C store and YouTube," adding, "We will enhance platform functions so that our clients can implement desired shopping mall features more freely, as well as provide a stable business environment."
