French automaker Renault will unveil the urban compact electric vehicle 'Renault 4 E-Tech Electric' for the first time in the world at the 2024 Paris Motor Show held in Paris on the 14th (local time). The Renault 4 E-Tech Electric is a pure electric vehicle with a design that modernly reinterprets the 'Original Renault 4' launched in the 1960s. It incorporates Renault's cutting-edge latest technology into a compact-sized electric car.
This time, the Renault Group has prepared a large exhibition space of 5,000㎡ and will showcase various vehicles. In particular, Renault Group's brands including Renault, Dacia, Alpine, and Mobilize will hold world premieres of 7 models, 2 concept cars, and display the latest vehicles along with various events and presentation sessions.
Additionally, the Renault brand will exhibit vehicles that embody innovative technology and design philosophy. They will showcase the new concept car 'Emblem,' which realizes the brand's future in terms of sustainability and decarbonization, and the 'Renault 17 Restomod,' created in collaboration with French contemporary designer Ora Ito.
Along with the Renault brand's pure electric vehicles such as the 'Scenic E-Tech Electric,' which was named 'Car of the Year 2024' at last year's Geneva International Motor Show, the Twingo prototype, and the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric, Renault will also present representative E-Tech full hybrid models like Symbioz and Rafale.
Alpine, the sports car brand within the Renault Group, will exhibit vehicles that embody the brand's innovation strategy. At this Paris Motor Show, Alpine will unveil the brand's first electric sports fastback A390 concept car, 'A390_β (Beta)'. The new A390, scheduled for release in 2025, will join Alpine's pure electric lineup Dream Garage alongside the hot hatch model A290, which began sales this summer.
The hydrogen race car Alpenglow Hy6, equipped with a 6-cylinder hydrogen engine, and a new version of the iconic A110 model featuring Alpine's engineering and Atelier program customization options will also be revealed.
