Jeonnam District JC Competition Concludes Successfully in Haenam

The 54th Jeonnam District Junior Chamber (JC) Conference of 2024 was held successfully on the afternoon of the 13th at Haenam County Citizens' Square, with about 3,000 attendees including members and their families.

Hosted by the Jeonnam District Junior Chamber and organized by the Haenam County Junior Chamber, the members' conference was attended by Kim Young-rok, Governor of Jeonnam Province, Park Seong-jae, Jeonnam Provincial Assembly member, and Myeong Hyeon-gwan, Haenam County Governor.

Under the slogan "Jeonnam District JC Together in Challenge and Participation," the event featured a friendly sports competition, an awards ceremony for young people of the Namdo region, and commendations for contributors to local community development.

Governor Kim Young-rok stated, "The Jeonnam District Junior Chamber has brought together the passionate energy of local youth to greatly contribute to community development and has taken the lead in addressing Jeonnam's current issues," adding, "Thanks to the JC family, Jeonnam has established a foundation for future growth in various fields."

He continued, "We will always listen carefully to the voices of youth and do our best to develop policies that young people can empathize with and feel directly."

Founded in 1969, the Jeonnam District Junior Chamber has four main goals: leadership cultivation, community development, friendship with the world, and corporate capability enhancement. Currently, with about 1,000 members across 27 regions, they are engaged in public awareness reform projects through blood donation campaigns and carbon neutrality campaigns, contributing to building a healthy community and fostering local traditional culture.
