Choi Ho-kwon, Yeongdeungpo District Mayor, Attends Welcome Ceremony for Sister City Children's Cultural Experience Exchange Group

Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the '2024 Sister City Children's Cultural Experience Group Exchange Welcome Ceremony' held on the afternoon of the 11th on the 3rd floor of Yeongdeungpo District Office and greeted the children.

This event was organized to invite the 'Children's Cultural Experience Group from Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do,' which has maintained continuous exchanges since establishing a sister city relationship with the district in 1995, allowing children from both cities to experience each other's cultures and strengthen their friendship.

The children's cultural experience group, consisting of 28 elementary school students in grades 5 and 6 from Yeongdeungpo District and Yeongam-gun, will tour major attractions such as ▲ Seoul Future Lab ▲ National Assembly Building ▲ Seoul Battleship ▲ Seoul Botanic Park over two days from October 11 to 12.

The district also provides children with opportunities to experience future science through this event.

Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, said, "I sincerely welcome the children from Yeongam-gun who traveled far to visit Yeongdeungpo District. I hope this will be a great opportunity to gain diverse experiences and broaden their horizons while making new friends, and I look forward to the continued friendship and cooperation between the two cities."
