Applications for Priority Applicants Begin from October 22
416 Remaining Units and 1,047 Reserve Tenants Available
Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation (SH Corporation) is recruiting tenants and prospective tenants for 1,463 redevelopment rental housing units.
On the 11th, SH Corporation announced that it will recruit tenants for redevelopment rental housing, including 416 units of remaining vacant houses and 1,047 prospective tenants. The tenant recruitment announcement will be posted on the SH Corporation website at 5 p.m. on the 11th.
This supply targets remaining vacant units in existing complexes caused by tenant move-outs and contract cancellations, as well as prospective tenants. It will recruit 416 units in 49 complexes and 1,047 units in 87 complexes.
The exclusive area of the supplied housing ranges from 24 to 47㎡. The deposit is approximately 5.41 million to 39.5 million KRW, and the rent is approximately 60,000 to 330,000 KRW.
The eligibility for general supply applicants is members of a household without a home residing in Seoul as of the tenant recruitment announcement date (October 11). The household income must be 70% or less of the average monthly urban worker income (priority 1: 50% or less, priority 2: 70% or less), with total assets of 345 million KRW or less, and vehicle value of 37.08 million KRW or less.
If there are children born after March 8, last year (including fetuses or adopted children), the income and asset requirements are relaxed by 10-20 percentage points.
Applications for priority applicants will be accepted online and via mobile from the 22nd to the 25th of this month. Applications for secondary applicants will be accepted on the 29th. If the number of priority applicants exceeds 200% of the supply units, secondary applications will not be accepted.
For applicants who have difficulty using the internet, such as the elderly and disabled, SH Corporation will conduct in-person applications at the main office's 2nd-floor auditorium from the 23rd to the 25th.
Document screening candidates will be announced on November 12, and successful applicants will be announced on April 2, 2025. Move-in will be possible after May 2025. The expected move-in date for prospective tenants will be individually notified.
