Dong-A University Department of Management Information Systems Signs MOU with KS C&C for 'DX Talent' Development

Digital Transformation: Ongoing Training for Hyperautomation Workforce

The Department of Management Information Systems at Dong-A University (headed by Kim Sangjin) announced on the 11th that it has signed a business agreement with KS C&C to foster 'DX talent'.

This agreement was promoted to respond to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and digital transformation (DX), and to cultivate DX talent through industry-academia cooperation.

The signing ceremony, held on the 10th at the College of Business Administration in the General Lecture Building at Dong-A University's Bumin Campus, was attended by Kim Yeonguk, Vice Dean of the College of Business Administration, Kim Sangjin, Head of the Department, Kim Seokjin, Vice President of KS C&C, and Kim Daekyung, Center Director.

The Department of Management Information Systems at Dong-A University is currently co-developing a curriculum with KS C&C as part of the Busan Technopark 'Support Project for Curriculum Development in the Data Industry Sector through Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation'.

Through this MOU, the two institutions plan to continuously provide hyper-automation workforce training. This training focuses on optimizing and automating business processes by integrating various advanced technologies.

Specifically, they will develop and operate educational programs related to digital transformation (DX), conduct joint research and development of hyper-automation advanced technologies using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and artificial intelligence models, operate student internship and field training programs, and support employment-linked programs and talent development projects.

Kim Sangjin, Head of the Department, said, "Through education in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), we will nurture talent needed for digital transformation in the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam region."

Kim Seokjin, Vice President, said, "We will make Dong-A University a hub for the spread of RPA in the Busan area."
