The Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Jeon Wooheon) held a diaper donation ceremony for children from low-income families at the Yuhan-Kimberly Gimcheon Plant on the 10th.
The ceremony was attended by Lee Seunghyun, Plant Manager of Yuhan-Kimberly Gimcheon Plant; Lim Jaechun, Head of Welfare Planning at Gimcheon City Hall; Kim Youngcheol, Secretary General of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Social Welfare Council; Lee Jeonggeun, Head of Management at Gyeongbuk Sarangui Yeolmae; and other related personnel.

Yuhan-Kimberly, a global health and hygiene product brand, has been donating diapers to marginalized groups in the region through the Hope Bank Project since 2012. At this ceremony, the company donated 1,020 packs of diapers worth approximately 10 million KRW. The donated items will be distributed to local children's centers and single-parent families in Gyeongsangbuk-do through Gimcheon City Hall and the Gyeongbuk Social Welfare Council (Gyeongbuk Regional Food Bank).
Lee Seunghyun, Plant Manager of Yuhan-Kimberly Gimcheon Plant, stated, "Through the Hope Bank Project, we aim to continuously practice sharing to contribute to social development, and all our employees will strive to become a company that is friendly to the local community."
Lee Jeonggeun, Head of Management at Gyeongbuk Community Chest, said, "We are grateful to the employees of Yuhan-Kimberly who actively participate in sharing every year," and added, "We will make sure that essential items for children are delivered to those who need them most."
