A heartwarming story has been shared about a man who gave a soldier he met at a rest area 10,000 won in cash, saying, "Thank you for protecting our country," before leaving. The soldier who received the cash was touched, calling it "a precious 10,000 won that I will never be able to spend in my lifetime."


On the 10th, a story from Air Force driver A was posted on the Facebook military-related tip channel 'Delivering Messages from the Army Training Center,' recounting an unforgettable experience. On the 7th, while out driving, A was having lunch at the Siheung Haneul Rest Area in Gyeonggi Province.


At that moment, a man who appeared to be in his late 30s to early 40s suddenly approached A and handed him a 10,000 won bill, saying, "Thank you for protecting the country. Use this for coffee," then left. A said, "It was my first time experiencing something like this, so I was so stunned that I couldn’t properly express my thanks," and added, "I’m leaving this message here in case the community sees it. I’m very grateful."
