Socar Targets Overseas Travelers with Shilla Duty Free... Conducts Discount Promotions

Socar announced on the 11th that it will conduct a joint promotion with Shilla Duty Free, operated by Hotel Shilla, targeting Socar members traveling abroad until the end of this year.

Socar will provide discount coupons for rental fees and one-way usage fees at discounted prices to Socar members who use Shilla Duty Free at Incheon Airport. The coupons include a 45% discount on Socar rental fees and a 45% discount on one-way return location change fees (up to 10,000 KRW). After purchasing over $50 at Shilla Duty Free’s Seoul store and Incheon Airport stores (Terminal 1, Terminal 2), customers can present their passports at each location’s information desk to receive paper coupons.

In response to the recent demand for airport transportation among international travelers, Socar has established dedicated Socar zones exclusively for Incheon Airport. A total of 20 dedicated spaces have been secured at Incheon Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, enabling round-trip and one-way services with Incheon Airport as the departure or destination point. Not only can customers rent and return vehicles at the Incheon Airport Socar zones for round trips, but they can also use the one-way service by renting a vehicle at a Socar zone within a maximum of 120 km from the airport and returning it to Incheon Airport.

Special benefits are also offered for Socar members at Shilla Duty Free locations including Incheon Airport, Seoul, and Jeju. Visitors to the Incheon Airport store will receive 8,000 S Rewards points usable on purchases over $30. Additionally, discount vouchers that can be used immediately in-store will be provided up to a maximum of 50,000 KRW depending on the purchase amount.

At Shilla Duty Free’s Seoul and Jeju stores, there is also a Gold Plus Membership upgrade benefit that offers up to a 15% discount at offline stores. Prepaid cards worth up to 40,000 KRW are also given according to the purchase amount.
