Hana Securities forecasted on the 11th that Icecream Media will enter a growth phase in performance as it ventures into the artificial intelligence (AI) digital textbook market.

Researcher Cho Jeong-hyun of Hana Securities introduced, "The AI digital textbooks scheduled for introduction next year are a key education policy of the current government, serving as an alternative to address existing educational issues through AI-based learning diagnosis and analysis, as well as personalized learning tailored to individual learning levels and speeds."

He added, "In August, a total of 146 reviews were submitted for English, Mathematics, and Information AI textbooks," and "the Ministry of Education will announce the final approved versions on the 29th of next month."

He emphasized, "The set price for AI digital textbooks is approximately 90,000 KRW, which is more than 10 times the current average price of Icecream Media textbooks at 9,000 KRW," and "we expect stepwise growth following the opening of the AI digital textbook market."

Researcher Cho predicted, "Icecream Media is currently undergoing AI digital textbook reviews for two subjects, English and Mathematics," and "the number of adopted subjects is expected to continue expanding."

It is estimated that Icecream Media will achieve sales of 151.2 billion KRW and operating profit of 50.1 billion KRW next year, representing increases of 22.9% and 47.4%, respectively, compared to the previous year.
