Ulsan Foreign Resident Real Estate Transaction Interpretation
3 More Locations Added, Now Total 33 Locations
Ulsan City is increasing the number of 'Global Real Estate Agencies' to assist foreigners with real estate transactions.
Ulsan City announced that at 10:30 a.m. on the 11th, a certificate awarding ceremony will be held in the Director of Construction and Housing Bureau's office for three newly designated agencies.
The Global Real Estate Agency is an office that supports foreign language communication so that foreigners residing in the Ulsan area do not face difficulties in real estate transactions such as sales or leases.
The newly designated Global Real Estate Agencies were selected through applications received from July 29 to August 30, followed by eligibility screening and foreign language proficiency interviews. A total of three agencies were selected: two for English and one for Japanese.
With this additional designation, the number of Global Real Estate Agencies in Ulsan will expand to a total of 33, including 23 for English, 8 for Japanese, and 2 for Chinese.
Currently, the proportion of foreigners residing in Ulsan is 23% from China, 22.8% from Vietnam, 8.3% from Sri Lanka, and 5.6% from Indonesia. For foreigners who use languages not supported by the Global Real Estate Agencies, interpretation services will be provided in cooperation with the Foreign Resident Support Center to ensure there is no inconvenience.
An Ulsan City official stated, "We plan to make every effort to ensure that foreigners do not face any difficulties, starting from finding a home when they decide to reside in Ulsan."
If a designated Global Real Estate Agency closes its business, relocates to another city or province, or receives administrative or criminal penalties for violating the Certified Real Estate Agents Act, its designation will be revoked.
