Gyeonggi Province will hold the "18th Gyeonggi-do Disabled Sports for All Games 2024" in Seongnam over two days from the 11th to the 12th.

This event will feature 5,046 athletes from 31 cities and counties within the province competing in 23 events, including 19 sports for all (gateball, basketball, billiards, dance sports, lawn bowls, badminton, boccia, indoor rowing, soccer (futsal), table tennis, taekwondo, park golf, swimming, athletics, Yutnori, Shulren, e-sports, bowling, weightlifting) and 4 experiential activities (sport stacking, laser shooting, Hangung, floor curling).

Kim Seong-jung, the First Deputy Governor of Gyeonggi Province, said, "I hope this event becomes a festival where the challenges and leaps of the participating athletes and the emotions of the spectators unite as one." He added, "We will expand opportunities for disabled people to watch sports by supporting opportunity-based viewing rights so that all 580,000 disabled residents of Gyeonggi Province can fully enjoy their 'right to exercise,' and we will spare no policy support such as providing opportunity income to athletes."

Since its inception in 2007, the Gyeonggi-do Disabled Sports for All Games has played a significant role in helping disabled individuals dream of a new leap through sports activities. Next year's event will be held in Paju-si.
