Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation Holds 'Academy' to Support Baby Boomer Employment Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation will hold the Gyeonggi-do Eum Job Academy to support employment for the Baby Boomer generation.

The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation is recruiting participants for the ‘2024 Gyeonggi-do Eum Job Academy’.


This academy is designed to strengthen employment capabilities by providing customized expert lectures for baby boomer workers and job seekers. Accordingly, the educational topics cover various subjects necessary for baby boomers, such as labor, mental health, artificial intelligence (AI), and financial technology. Through lectures by experts in each field, participants will be prepared to acquire not only practical employment information but also the knowledge and skills needed for life planning.


The program will be held from the 15th of this month to October 29th, with lectures offered every Tuesday and Thursday over two weeks, totaling five sessions.


The main lecture topics include ▲ Increasing knowledge about labor: Am I working in a fair environment? Labor Law for You (Labor Attorney Baek Woo-yeon) ▲ Completing a 3-hour task in 30 minutes: First Steps in Using AI (Professor Shim Ki-myeong) ▲ The three essentials for health and how to practice them efficiently (Lee Ho-wook, CEO of Nutrition Plus Gym) ▲ Five-minute daily therapy for a healthy mind without complaints or worries (Jang Jae-yeol, Editor-in-Chief of Mind Health Magazine) ▲ The snowball of wealth: smart strategies to reduce spending and increase income (Ha Sang-wook, Financial Instructor at Seoul Welfare Foundation).


Any resident of Gyeonggi-do can participate by pre-registering. Applications can be made via the QR code on the poster. For more details, contact the Western Regional Project Team at 031-270-9941.


The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation plans to enhance the employment capabilities of baby boomers based on the Eum Job project and build a network of participating companies. Additionally, through continuous follow-up and monitoring of Eum Job project participants, the foundation aims to create employment opportunities and revitalize the economy for baby boomers in the province.


Son Il-kwon, Head of the Western Business Headquarters at the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, stated, "We expect the Eum Job Academy to be a turning point for both participants in the Eum Job project and baby boomers in the province to seek new directions in life."
