Kim Dong-geun, Mayor of Uijeongbu, Special Lecture at the Senior College of the Korea Senior Citizens Association Uijeongbu Branch Mayor Kim Dong-geun is taking a commemorative photo with the students of the Senior College after giving a special lecture at the Uijeongbu City Branch of the Korea Senior Citizens Association on the 8th.

On the 8th, Kim Dong-geun, Mayor of Uijeongbu City, held a special lecture titled "A City Where the Elderly Are Happy, Uijeongbu" at the Senior University affiliated with the Uijeongbu City branch of the Korea Senior Citizens Association, the city announced on the 9th.


Mayor Kim Dong-geun communicated with over 100 Senior University students, explaining the city's key elderly welfare policies, including ▲creating a city where the elderly want to walk ▲expanding senior job opportunities ▲experience-based welfare policies ▲expanding elderly welfare facilities.


Mayor Kim said, "I hope the elderly regain vitality in life through various educational programs at the Senior University," adding, "We will take a step closer to the elderly to communicate and implement various policies so they can enjoy a happy old age."


The Senior University affiliated with the Uijeongbu City branch of the Korea Senior Citizens Association is recruiting its 43rd class this year and has been conducting classes every Tuesday since opening on April 22, offering various programs such as elderly care, safety and crime prevention education, laughter therapy, and cultural exploration.
