"It Seems This Life Isn't a Complete Failure" Go Young-wook Now Summons GD and Kim Min-hee

Continuous Release of Activity Diaries from the Rula Era

Ko Young-wook, who became known as the 'first celebrity with an electronic ankle bracelet' due to charges of sexually assaulting and molesting minors, has started reminiscing about memories from 30 years ago. G-Dragon (real name Kwon Ji-yong, 36), a member of the group Big Bang preparing for a comeback, revealed old photos taken together during their childhood.

On the 7th, Ko Young-wook posted on his social media platform X, "Most of the photos of me online are awkward or uncomfortable, but I also have a few dandy photos from the time when I stood shoulder to shoulder with the era's top dandy boys and dandy girls, so I am sharing them." He added, "By the way, my personal fan club name during the Roolra days was also Dandy Ko." He then shared pictures of himself with a young G-Dragon and a photo shoot with actress Kim Min-hee.

Ko Young-wook also shared a video of G-Dragon from long ago when he was active as 'Little Roolra.' He wrote, "It is a family honor that Kwon Ji-yong had to take my role, follow me, and even introduce me when he was seven years old," adding, "It seems this life is not entirely ruined." Recently, he has been actively reminiscing by posting episodes from his Roolra days on X one after another.

From July 2010 to December 2012, Ko Young-wook was arrested and indicted in January 2013 on charges of sexually assaulting and molesting three minors a total of four times at his officetel and in his car (violating the Child and Youth Protection Act). Subsequently, the Supreme Court sentenced Ko Young-wook to 2 years and 6 months in prison, 3 years of electronic ankle bracelet monitoring, and 5 years of information disclosure. He was released after serving his full term in 2015.

In November 2020, he opened an Instagram account saying, "I now want to cautiously communicate with the world," but the account was shut down after just one day due to Instagram's operating policies. In August, he announced the launch of his YouTube channel 'Go! Young-wook GoDog Days' with a post saying, "I have lived a shameful life. Feeling like I am aging miserably while lamenting at home, I am starting YouTube without much plan to escape this lethargic daily life," but YouTube also closed his account.
