The photo exhibition on the life of Syngman Rhee, the first President of the Republic of Korea, is being held at the Changwon Cultural Center Exhibition Hall in Yongho-dong, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, until the 20th.
This Syngman Rhee photo exhibition, hosted by the Barun Gachi Suho Gyeongnam Union and the Gyeongnam Mahanaim Presbyterian Association, features various scenes from Rhee's life, including his time in Hansung Prison, his independence movements in the United States and other Western countries, key moments of diplomatic activities for the establishment of the government in 1948, and vivid images of joint operations with UN forces during the Korean War.
Lee Sungwan, pastor and representative of the Barun Gachi Suho Gyeongnam Union, which organized the event, stated, "As we live in a time when it is important to know the historical facts about Syngman Rhee accurately, I hope many people will visit this exhibition and learn the true history of our country."
