Sharing Latest Hacking Techniques and Information Leakage Cases

On the 8th, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP) Wolsong Headquarters invited external experts to conduct an information security training session.

Professor Lee Jeonggyu from the Graduate School of Information Security at Dongguk University, who was invited for the session, emphasized the importance of information security by sharing the latest hacking techniques and cases of information leaks.

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Wolsong Headquarters is conducting information security training on the 8th by inviting Professor Lee Jungkyu from Dongguk University Graduate School of Information Security.

The lectures, which took place at the main building and various power plants, heightened participants' awareness of security threats in their daily work situations and provided an opportunity to reaffirm their responsibilities for national security as employees of KHNP and its partner companies.

Kim Hanseong, Head of Wolsong Headquarters, stated, "I hope that this training will serve as a catalyst for all employees to be more proactive in protecting the company's information assets with a strong sense of security."

On the same day, with the head of the headquarters in attendance, Wolsong Headquarters also carried out a personal information protection campaign for all employees, raising awareness about the importance of personal information protection and precautions to take when handling personal data.
