Kyungnam College of Information & Technology (President Kim Taesang) held the "Korean Language Institute 2024 Hangeul Day Commemorative Event" at the university's Minseok Sports Center on the 8th, one day before Hangeul Day.
Gyeongnam Information College held a Hangul Day commemorative event for about 250 international students in celebration of Hangul Day.
More than 250 international students from Kyungnam College of Information & Technology participated in the event, which included a K-POP talent show, quizzes on the Korean language and culture, and a drawing contest.
Kim Honggil, Director of International Exchange at Kyungnam College of Information & Technology, said, "On the occasion of the 578th Hangeul Day, this event allowed international students to gain a deeper understanding of the Korean language and culture," and added, "Kyungnam College of Information & Technology will do its best to systematically educate international students so that they can become a new driving force for the local economy, fulfilling our role as a leading community college representing Busan."
Recently, Kyungnam College of Information & Technology has been recognized as a "national leading case" by establishing a support system that covers education, local settlement, and employment, including customized education for international students' employment in Korea in partnership with local industries such as Joeun Samseon Hospital, Iron Motors, and STS Robotech.
