POSCO E&C announced on the 8th that it has been selected as an 'Excellent Honorary Company' for three consecutive years by receiving the highest grade in the 'Win-Win Growth Index Evaluation' annually announced by the Win-Win Growth Committee.
The Win-Win Growth Index is a quantified indicator that evaluates large corporations' efforts for mutual growth cooperation and the level of win-win growth. It combines the comprehensive evaluation of win-win growth by the Win-Win Growth Committee and the fair trade agreement compliance evaluation results by the Fair Trade Commission, categorizing companies into five grades: Excellent, Good, Fair, Average, and Poor. It is announced regularly once a year.
Companies that receive the highest grade are provided with government-level incentives such as exemption from the Fair Trade Commission's ex officio investigations and additional points in pre-screening for public bids. Furthermore, companies that achieve the highest grade for three consecutive years are selected as Excellent Honorary Companies, the highest honor in the Win-Win Growth Index.
Since 2020, POSCO E&C has introduced the five major win-win growth brands (Fairness, Coexistence, Empathy, Sharing, Symbiosis) and systematically operates win-win growth programs for small and medium-sized partner companies. It operates a 'Performance Sharing System' that carries out joint technology development projects with small and medium-sized partners and shares the results, as well as a 'Win-Win Growth Support Group' that supports partners by utilizing POSCO E&C's capabilities and infrastructure. The company introduced a low-price restriction bidding system in 2020 to guarantee appropriate profits for partners and also provides financial support to improve partners' liquidity.
POSCO E&C stated that it has signed a total of 115 technology agreements with small and medium-sized partners since 2008 and contributed to enhancing partners' order competitiveness and sales growth with performance rewards amounting to 160.5 billion KRW. A POSCO E&C official said, "We will continue to foster mutual cooperation with our business partners, the small and medium-sized partners, to create a robust supply chain ecosystem and continue challenges that transcend the limits of our industry for building an eco-friendly future society."
