Mayor Joo Gwang-deok "Will Reflect the Actual Required Budget"

Joo Gwang-deok, Mayor of Namyangju City, is conducting the '2025 Major Investment Projects Report Meeting.'

Namyangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Joo Gwang-deok) announced on the 8th that it will hold the '2025 Major Investment Project Report Meeting' for four days from the 7th to the 11th.

This report meeting, chaired by Mayor Joo Gwang-deok, was organized to maximize the achievements of the second half of the 8th term of the elected government and to implement city administration that citizens can feel. The goal is to review the implementation plans of major projects, secure the city's growth engine through appropriate budget allocation, and expand benefits to citizens.

The report meeting started on the 7th with the △Planning and Coordination Office △Finance and Economy Bureau △Welfare Bureau and will continue until the 11th with the Park and Greenery Management Office, covering a total of 14 offices, bureaus, divisions, and departments. Mayor Joo plans to review detailed implementation plans for 101 projects.

On the first day, reports were made on △Construction of Byeollae-dong Complex Community Center △Operation of Namyangju City Policy Research Institute △Installation of security CCTV △Promotion of Namyangju City New City Hall construction and fund establishment △Construction of Byeollae Senior Welfare Center △Remodeling of the former Geumgok Office Building △Namyangju City Dream Maru, a women's startup support platform.

Mayor Joo Gwang-deok emphasized, "In the challenging financial conditions due to the ongoing economic downturn, we will carefully review the required budget for 2025 to successfully complete our pledges and key projects and reflect the actual necessary amounts."

He added, "We will efficiently allocate limited resources to ensure budget formulation and project implementation that citizens can empathize with."

The city plans to reflect the opinions derived from this report meeting in the formulation of the 2025 main budget and major work plans. Furthermore, through this, it intends to focus on solid project implementation and administrative capabilities so that citizens can experience greater changes and achievements in the second half of the 8th term of the elected government.
