Daegu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairperson Park Yunkyung) held the 278th seminar of the '21st Century Daegu Economic Forum' on the 8th at the Grand Tourist Hotel, with over 120 attendees including local institution leaders and forum members. At the seminar, Lee Jaehun, CEO of Ecopro Partners Co., Ltd., was invited to give a lecture on the topic, "Nevertheless, the Era of Electric Vehicles Is Coming! (Prospects and Challenges of the Electric Vehicle Industry)."

CEO Lee Jaehun stated, "Although the development of the electric vehicle industry is slow due to global economic recession and changes in subsidy policies in European countries, the growth trend is expected to continue." He cited technological issues and cost reduction, the global climate crisis, strengthened regulations and infrastructure in various countries, and the transition to electric energy as reasons why the electric vehicle market is bound to grow.
