Meeting Held with Outstanding ESG Sharing Management Companies in Yeoju City Area

Yeoju City held a commemorative photo session after the 'Yeoju ESG Sharing Company Plaque Presentation Ceremony,' hosted by the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest on the 7th, recognizing companies leading ESG sharing management in the area.

Yeoju City (Mayor Lee Chung-woo) held the "Yeoju ESG Sharing Company Plaque Presentation Ceremony" and a meeting on October 7, hosted by the Gyeonggi Social Welfare Community Chest, with companies leading ESG sharing management in the area.

The ESG Sharing Company Plaque was presented to 10 companies and organizations that practiced ESG sharing management and donated more than 10 million KRW to Yeoju City through the Community Chest in 2023, including Greenpia Technology Co., Ltd., Dongbo Electric Co., Ltd., Daesoon Jinrihoe Susaek Branch, Route 52 CC, Bukwang Energy Co., Ltd., Samdeok Industrial Development Co., Ltd., Shinsegae Simon Yeoju Branch, Yeoju Saemaeul Geumgo, Yeoju Golf Association, and the Engineering Mutual Aid Association (in alphabetical order), which is five more than the previous year.

Vice Mayor Jo Jeong-ah stated, "This occasion is a moment of gratitude and encouragement for companies practicing ESG sharing management. We thank the companies that have presented a cooperative model where businesses and the local community grow together and have shown new possibilities for sustainable development."

Meanwhile, the donations received by Yeoju City through the Community Chest are evenly distributed to low-income families and social welfare facilities in the area, helping neighbors in need within the community.
