The 2024 Goyang City Makgeolli Festival was held on the 5th at Ilsan Culture Square.

At this event, held on the largest scale ever, 76 companies participated in free tasting sessions.

Lee Dong-hwan, Mayor of Goyang Special City, stated, “The Goyang City Makgeolli Festival, which has established itself as a nationally representative festival, is expected to lead one pillar of the globalization of Makgeolli in the future.”

The Goyang City Makgeolli Festival, where visitors can experience over 280 varieties of Makgeolli from across the country, will continue until 6 PM on the 6th.

On the 5th, the opening day of the 2024 Goyang-si Makgeolli Festival, officials are holding Makgeolli and taking commemorative photos.
