"Write down the memories with your ex (X) that you want to forget."
"If you write a handwritten letter to your future self, you can receive a reply."
Visitors to the TVING House created memories by taking photos in a pop-up zone inspired by the variety show "Transit Love."
On the 5th, Tving, a leading domestic online video service (OTT) platform, visited the pop-up house promoting its original content.
Coinciding with the International OTT Festival and the Busan International Film Festival, Tving's pop-up house, located on Gumnam-ro in Haeundae, Busan, has been operating since the 2nd. It is filled with popular content and anticipated works from CJ ENM’s media subsidiaries such as Tving and tvN.
The venue, spanning from the 1st to the 4th floor of the building, is an experiential space where visitors can become protagonists in dramas and romantic reality shows. Anyone can visit and become Seo Dong-jae, the prosecutor from 'Good or Bad Dong-jae,' or try being a new member of the Maerang Theater Troupe in the 1950s-set drama 'Jeongnyeon-i.'
The drama 'Good or Bad Dong-jae' is an original series exclusively released on Tving on the 10th. It is a spin-off of the tvN weekend drama 'Stranger,' starring actors Lee Joon-hyuk and Park Sung-woong.
The drama 'Jeongnyeon-i,' starring actress Kim Tae-ri, is a 12-episode new weekend drama on tvN starting from the 12th and will also be available on Tving.
Visitors entering the studio, decorated like a set, can take photos guided by staff. Families, friends, and couples experienced becoming the protagonists of movie posters and left with memorable moments.
At the TVING House opened in Busan, a photo shoot event themed around the drama "Jeongnyeon-i" is being held.
On the 3rd floor, there was a space themed around 'Seon-jae Upgo Twieo,' which ended successfully in May, and the upcoming Tving original drama 'One Week Before I Die,' scheduled for release next year.
At the 'One Week Before I Die' pop-up zone, in line with the drama’s concept, citizens could write handwritten letters to their future selves and receive replies from an AI-generated future self.
The future self sent messages of hope and encouragement such as, "You are already doing well enough, and you will continue to do well," and "Let's keep moving forward as you are now."
Notably, on this day, the lead actors of 'One Week Before I Die' held an event handing out drinks to visitors.
TVING held an event ahead of the release of the original drama 'A Week Before I Die,' where participants wrote handwritten letters to their future selves and received replies.
Additionally, in the space themed around the reality entertainment show 'Transit Love,' visitors wrote down emotions they wanted to cut off after a breakup and stuck them on the wall. The hip-hop survival program 'Rap: Public,' exclusively released on Tving on the 2nd, had its zone set up on the building’s rooftop.
Tving is currently running an event where visitors who upload their experiences at the pop-up house on social media (SNS) receive limited-edition goods. A Tving representative said, "It is an experiential space where anyone can become the protagonist of Tving content," adding, "Visitors can leave precious memories and feel a sense of intimacy with new works."
Meanwhile, the 2nd International OTT Festival, in which Tving is participating, is being held throughout Busan from the 4th to the 6th. It is co-hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and Busan City, and organized by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency and the Busan International Film Festival. The festival introduced events such as the 'International OTT Summit,' which reviews the OTT market and introduces strategies, investment pitch sessions, and business meetings.
The International OTT Awards ceremony will take place on the 6th at the outdoor theater of the Busan Cinema Center. Domestic and international OTT platforms, actors, and creators (directors and writers) nominated for awards will gather for a red carpet event, followed by awards in a total of 15 categories (11 competitive, 4 invitational) covering about 20 works.
