"Expecting Support for a Swift Return to Daily Life"
The government will provide humanitarian aid worth 3 million USD (approximately 4 billion KRW) to Lebanon, where casualties have occurred due to attacks targeting the pro-Iran armed group Hezbollah in Israel.
On the 5th, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, "We hope this support will help alleviate the difficulties of the local residents and facilitate a swift return to normal life."
As the Israeli military continues airstrikes and ground operations targeting Hezbollah in Lebanon, thousands of casualties have occurred. According to the US CNN broadcast, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that over 1,400 people have died and about 7,500 have been injured due to Israel's attacks over the past two weeks. According to the Lebanese government’s estimates, there are more than 1 million displaced persons.
