The 4th Youth Mind Care Festival, hosted by the Dongducheon City Mental Health Welfare Center, is taking place. The 4th Youth Mind Care Festival, hosted by the Mental Health Welfare Center of Dongducheon City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Park Hyung-deok), recently concluded successfully at the Dongducheon Community Center.
This event was held for the youth of Dongducheon City (ages 19-39) and offered various programs such as self-assessment to check their mental health, glass art (cereal bowl), candle making (dessert candle), silver craft (bracelet class), pipe cleaner doll making, magic dictionary unfolding, photo zones, and an outdoor cafe.
In the second part, a 'Book Talk with the Author' was held, providing an opportunity for young people to share their worries and concerns, empathize with each other, and communicate.
The festival was praised for raising awareness of mental health among the youth through diverse cultural content, offering opportunities for self-esteem improvement, stress relief, and healing.
A representative from the Mental Health Welfare Center stated, “We plan to continue providing various programs for the mental health of young people and ask for the ongoing interest and participation of citizens.”
