Pusan National University Miryang Campus Hosts Future Agro-Bio Industry Festival 'Hyowon Green Farm Festival'

Event for Local Residents on the 8th, Hosted by College of Life Resources Science and Miryang City
Experience and Food Events, Capstone Design Exhibition, Lab Tour, Cultural Performances

The College of Life Resources and Sciences at Pusan National University (Dean: Park Hyuncheol, Professor of Environmental Life Chemistry) will hold the "14th Hyowon Green Farm Festival" on June 8th from 1:00 PM at the Central Plaza and the first floor of the Life Resources Science Building on the Miryang Campus. The festival will feature a variety of experiential events and a capstone design exhibition that showcase the unique characteristics of the college and its departments.

Celebrating its 14th year, the "Hyowon Green Farm Festival" brings together 11 departments within the College of Life Resources and Sciences located at the Miryang Campus, as well as the Institute of Life Industry Convergence, the affiliated farm, academic forest, student council, clubs, Career Strategy Division, Hyowon Counseling Center, Teaching and Learning Support Center, the LINC 3.0 Project Group, and other on-campus organizations. External partners include Miryang City (Public Health Center, Future Strategy Division, Sixth Industry Division, Culture and Arts Division), Gyeongnam Agricultural Human Resources Management Institute, Busan Agricultural Technology Center, Miryang Livestock Cooperative, K-water Miryang Branch, and the Korea Institute of Materials Science.


This year's festival, themed "Finding a Path Together for the Region and the University," aims to introduce the specialized fields of the College of Life Resources and Sciences at Pusan National University, which are gaining increasing attention in the agri-bio industry. The event will feature a capstone design exhibition led by students, hands-on and food experience zones, high school lab tours, cultural performances, and a variety of other programs.


In the hands-on and food experience zones, visitors can enjoy a range of foods and activities that reflect each department's unique characteristics. There will also be a capstone design exhibition showcasing students' creative ideas and an e-sports competition to promote a healthy cyber culture on campus.


The event will also be enriched by performances from the College of Arts Department of Dance (Pusan National University Contemporary Dance) and the College of Engineering Department of Aerospace Engineering's drone show team (PNU Drone Show).


Participation is open to everyone, including local residents, and registration can be completed by visiting the on-site booths.
