According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index on the 4th, Zuckerberg's total net worth reached an all-time high of $206.2 billion (approximately 273.112 trillion KRW). This is about $1.1 billion more than Bezos (approximately $205 billion). It is about $50 billion less than Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and the world's richest person (approximately $257 billion).

This is the first time Zuckerberg has ranked second on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Thanks to the rise in Meta's stock price, his net worth increased by $34.3 billion in a single day. Bloomberg News reported, "Among the world's 500 richest people tracked by the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, this is the largest growth rate," adding, "Zuckerberg's bet on the metaverse, which initially seemed like a huge failure, has recently paid off, increasing his net worth to an all-time high."

Meta, which had recorded tens of trillions of won in losses from metaverse investments in the past, is continuing its unstoppable stock price rise thanks to 'Meta AI' integrated into Facebook and the launch of the augmented reality (AR) smart glasses 'Orion.' After releasing second-quarter results that exceeded expectations, Meta's stock price rose by 23%. The increase compared to the beginning of the year is over 64%. On the 3rd (local time), Meta's stock price continued to rise on the New York Stock Exchange, reaching an all-time high of $582.77 per share.

Meanwhile, the fourth place on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index was taken by Bernard Arnault, chairman of Louis Vuitton Mo?t Hennessy (LVMH). He was followed by Larry Ellison, founder of Oracle, and Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft (MS). Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, a leading AI company, ranked 13th with a net worth of $107 billion. Since the beginning of the year, Huang's net worth has increased by $63.5 billion.

This is the second largest increase among billionaires in their 20s, following Zuckerberg.
