Kim Yo-jong: "Hyeonmu-5, trivial play... shameful behavior in front of nuclear powers"

3 Il Chosun Joongang Tongsin Statement

Kim Yo-jong, Deputy Director of the Workers' Party of Korea, described the National Armed Forces Day event held on the 1st as a "miscellaneous play gathering a bunch of riffraff" and a "futile clown show."

Kim Yo-jong: "Hyeonmu-5, trivial play... shameful behavior in front of nuclear powers" At Seongnam Seoul Airport on the 1st, core weapons of the three-axis system, including the 'Hyunmoo-5' ultra-high-power ballistic missile called Hyunmoo, are preparing to enter at the 76th Armed Forces Day ceremony commemorating the founding of the military.

On the 3rd, Deputy Director Kim stated this in a commentary titled "Is it a show of strength by a pack of wild dogs, or a funeral procession of colonial hired troops?" released by the Korean Central News Agency.

She called the Hyeonmu-5, unveiled for the first time at the event, "an absurd monstrosity disguised by the ridiculous argument that it is equivalent to a tactical nuclear weapon," and described it as "a weapon that is uselessly oversized." She added, "It once again proved on its own that it cannot overcome the inevitable wall of power inferiority faced by non-nuclear states," mocking it as "a pitiful act in front of nuclear-armed countries."

Regarding the 9-axle 18-wheel Transporter Erector Launcher (TEL) carrying the Hyeonmu-5, she ridiculed it as a "deformed cart," claiming, "The firepower of just one of our multiple rocket launchers, which is less than half its size, is calculated to be equivalent to an explosion of 900 tons when converted to the amount of conventional warhead explosives." This emphasized that no matter how much South Korea increases the weight of its conventional warheads, it still falls far short of tactical nuclear weapons.

She continued, "South Korea, which does not possess a single strategic weapon, establishing a 'Strategic Command' is like a mangy dog wearing a helmet," adding, "Even if a dog wears a helmet, it cannot transform into a tiger or a lion."

Regarding the appearance of the U.S. military's strategic bomber B-1B at the event, she mocked, "The sight of South Korea's military commander-in-chief, his subordinate lackeys, and the puppet army, navy, and air force standing in formation to pay respects is a masterpiece that will never be seen again in the world's military parade history, a scene too precious to be seen alone, and one that can only be staged in colonial South Korea."

Deputy Director Kim criticized, "The confrontation frenzy stirred up by Yoon Seok-yeol, who was all fired up with war fever this time, is nothing but the last scream of a person facing the end," adding, "He was eager to show off, but it was an unfiltered exposure of an anxious and nervous psyche."
