Kim Dong-yeon, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, once again promoted the 'Gyeonggi Tour Pass.'
On the 2nd, Governor Kim posted on his social media (SNS), "It is a great season for traveling. Have you made any travel plans for the Pongdangpongdang holiday?" He added, "'Gyeonggi Tour Pass' is receiving great love. Sales doubled last August."
The Gyeonggi Tour Pass is the new name for the 'Gyeonggi Tourism Integrated Ticket,' which began selling last year. It allows access to over 150 tourist attractions and nearby cafes in the province, including Gwangmyeong Cave, Petite France, Anseong Farmland, and Herb Island, priced from 19,000 KRW (24-hour pass) to 35,900 KRW (72-hour pass).
Governor Kim introduced, "I also used the Gyeonggi Tour Pass effectively during my summer vacation. I enjoyed unlimited food and sightseeing throughout Gyeonggi Province, including Yangpyeong, Gapyeong, Dongducheon, Pocheon, Yangju, and Paju."
He continued, "Having used it myself, I will make it more convenient and abundant for everyone to enjoy in the future. This fall, please come visit Gyeonggi Province with the Gyeonggi Tour Pass."
Meanwhile, according to Gyeonggi Province, sales of the Gyeonggi Tour Pass increased sharply to 7,623 tickets in August, more than double the 3,141 tickets in June and 3,428 tickets in July.
