Israel Military "Operation Targeting Hamas"
Israel, which is fiercely attacking the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah, continues airstrikes targeting the Palestinian Gaza Strip.
According to foreign media on the 2nd (local time), a school in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza was hit by an airstrike, killing eight people. Many injured, including children, were urgently transported to the nearby Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. The school that was struck is known to be operated by the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

In footage filmed by foreign media, men bleeding and children appearing unconscious were brought to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital after the airstrike. The video also captured a 3-month-old infant whose body was covered with wounds caused by shrapnel. The infant’s head was bandaged, and it appeared to have suffered burns as well.
Israel explained that this airstrike was an operation targeting the Palestinian armed group Hamas. The Israeli military stated, "We conducted a precision strike operation targeting terrorists operating a command and control center in the Nuseirat area," pointing out that Hamas had established the center in a building formerly used as a school and "planned and executed terrorist attacks against Israel."
