A, who runs a cafe in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, posted a CCTV photo claiming that a man presumed to be Chinese defecated on the terrace of his cafe. [Photo source: Captured from 'Because It's Painful, It's the Boss']
A, who said he has been running a cafe in Haenggung-dong, Paldal-gu, Suwon for five years, wrote, "The incident occurred on September 30th," adding, "Now that the heatwave has passed, many foreign tourists have been visiting, and on that day, a group of three people who appeared to be Chinese visited." Two of the group were presumed to be a married couple, and they spoke in Chinese.
A said that around 4:20 PM, a long-haired man B from the group came and asked where the restroom was, so he directed him to the restroom outside the back door. He continued, "Since there was another customer in the restroom, I noticed that this man could not use it immediately and was waiting," adding, "I was busy preparing the ordered menu and couldn’t pay attention." Shortly after, the man returned to the group’s seat, and about ten minutes later, the group said, "Thank you for the meal," smiled, and left the store.
However, A witnessed a shocking scene after going to the restroom. He said, "While cleaning the restroom and bringing a drying rack to the terrace to hang washed towels, I found feces about 30 cm in diameter on the floor," and revealed, "The CCTV captured the man unable to hold it for about three minutes, defecating in a corner of the terrace and leaving."
The photo A released showed a long-haired man wearing a red shirt sitting in a squatting position behind a flowerpot placed in a corner of the terrace, appearing to defecate.
A said, "It was really absurd and ridiculous. In five years of running the store, this was the first time someone defecated on the terrace," expressing disbelief, "No matter how urgent, how can a person behave like that?" He said he ended up cleaning up the feces himself and concluded the situation, adding, "I don’t know how much more success I can expect for the rest of this year."
Netizens who heard the news reacted with comments such as, "There are such bizarre incidents too," "This is unbelievable," "Public urination was already ridiculous, but now it’s the era of public defecation," and "If people just defecate and discard waste anywhere, how are they different from animals?"
