The Public Health Center of Dongducheon-si, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 2nd that it will expand the voucher support amount for diapers and formula milk to reduce the economic burden on low-income families starting this year.
The diaper support targets households with infants under 2 years old who are △ recipients of basic living security, near-poverty class, or single-parent families △ households with disabilities with an income below 80% of the median income △ multi-child (2 or more children) households with an income below 80% of the median income. Additionally, formula milk support is available under conditions such as when breastfeeding is impossible due to the mother's death or illness.
The support amount has been increased from 80,000 KRW to 90,000 KRW per month for diapers, and from 100,000 KRW to 110,000 KRW per month for formula milk, provided as voucher points on the National Happiness Card.
The application period is available from the birth of the infant until the day before the infant turns 24 months old.
