The mayor stated, "The 2024 Goyang Autumn Festival is being held from last Monday until the 13th. The Goyang Autumn Flower Festival is a representative autumn festival, featuring autumn gardens created with autumn chrysanthemums and various autumn flowers directly cultivated and produced by local farmers, autumn flower fields such as cosmos and zinnia, and autumn-themed emotional photo zones, allowing visitors to enjoy a variety of autumn flowers."

Mayor Lee Dong-hwan added, "By operating a flower market in which flower farmers directly participate, we expect to contribute to revitalizing the local economy through expanded flower sales within the city and enhancing the city brand as a flower tourism city. Since the Cactus Festival will also be held together, it is expected that there will be even more attractions."

The mayor emphasized, "In October, various festivals such as the Goyang Lake Art Festival, National Makgeolli Festival, Changneungcheon Cosmos Festival, and the 2024 ‘Haengjuga Yesul-iya’ will be held, so many visitors are expected to come to our city. Therefore, we must always pay attention to safety issues."

He stressed, "We will prepare diverse content so that visitors can fully enjoy the autumn atmosphere with various flowers and return to Goyang City again. We will also pay close attention to the preparation and progress of the events, including transportation, convenience facilities, and safety, to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience."
