Renault Korea Sold 8,625 Units Domestically and Internationally Last Month, Down 5% YoY

Renault Korea announced on the 2nd that it sold 8,625 units last month, a 5.3% decrease compared to September of last year.

In the domestic market, 5,010 units were sold, more than tripling sales during the same period. The mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV) Grand Koleos E-Tech Hybrid, which began customer deliveries last month, led the upward trend with 3,900 units delivered. As of the end of last month, the number of Grand Koleos contracts reached 20,562 units.

The compact SUV Arkana sold 579 units, of which the E-Tech Hybrid accounted for more than 60% with 350 units. From the beginning of this year through last month, Renault Korea’s hybrid models sold domestically, combining the Grand Koleos and Arkana, totaled 8,587 units, representing 45% of total sales.

Exports amounted to 3,615 units, a 51.5% decrease compared to the same period last year. Arkana accounted for 3,444 units, and QM6 for 171 units.
