Holding a Progress Report Meeting on the Promises of the 8th Elected Administration
Park Hyung-deok, Mayor of Dongducheon, held a "Pledge Project Performance Report Meeting" on the 30th at the city hall situation room to review the progress of pledge projects promised to citizens. Presided over by Mayor Park Hyeong-deok of Dongducheon, the report meeting was attended by more than 20 heads of departments responsible for the projects. They exchanged in-depth opinions on the direction of ongoing pledge projects, issues, and improvement measures to achieve the pledge goals.
In particular, in line with the city administration slogan, the pledge projects of Dongducheon City’s 8th elected term aim to “Renew Dongducheon, Empower Citizens” by establishing four major policies: ▲ Innovative, Creative, and Fair City ▲ City Where Citizens Are Happy ▲ New Leap, City Opening the Future ▲ Warm Companionship, Livable and Dignified City. The city is promoting 44 projects across 9 sectors, and so far, 24 projects (55%) have been completed.
Mayor Park Hyeong-deok of Dongducheon said, “I appreciate the efforts of all employees who are doing their best to carry out the pledge projects despite repetitive daily tasks and handling civil complaints,” and added, “I hope you carefully examine and work on the tasks that need to be resolved so that the pledge projects announced to citizens at the start of the 8th elected term can be completed within the deadline.”
Meanwhile, Dongducheon City is disclosing the progress of pledge projects and detailed implementation plans by sector on the city hall website to realize trustworthy and transparent administration.
